Too Many Cooks Spoil the Turkey
Did you have too many cooks in your kitchen on Thanksgiving? People can get cranky when things get chaotic during the holiday season. I was watching the news today and saw a story about family members having a shootout at the dinner table. This princess nurse had a peaceful day as my prince prepared our Thanksgiving meal. We spent an enjoyable day with our family. If you’re heading out to shop today, I wish you luck finding that perfect gift and a parking spot at the mall.

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
I hope you had a good Thanksgiving too. We don't have it over here, so for me it was just an ordinary day off. I had to go to the dentist for a check-up :( but I stopped by the fish van and got some lovely haddock fillets which we had for tea yesterday and today. I do the cooking in our house.
Ditto Deacon Barry, we didn't have Thanksgiving here...the university never sleeps. But I hope yours was good. Warms my heart to know your family loves you and pampers you. Way too much depression going around these days.
But then again, we all know that from your last few posts :)
Yes, there were too many cooks at my mother's house, and the free-floating anxiety level went waaaaay up for awhile. (I can always tell when this begins because my sister starts throwing me those "looks" behind my mother's back, heh heh...) (And would you believe that the whole thing started over whether to use a Butterball Turkey or an "offbrand" turkey?---cracks me up!)
We had lots of cooks too, but it was fun. I really enjoyed my Thanksgiving. My Prince is a really helpful with the clean-up, so it doesn't get any better than that!
Where did you find that book cover! It does 2 things: Relates to your topic well AND is freakin' hilarious!! I love it! I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!
Most of the books you see are from our family book collection. This book, however, was a book on eBay.
